REVIEW

Have I mentioned my favourite character? It was always Armin (my darling Armin) for multiple reasons. A decade of distance from the series hasn’t changed anything. This volume has the first scene that made me fall in love with him. “This guy is a wimp” became “I love this guy, he’s invaluable” in a few simple strokes.

I love his brave salute.

This volume also warms my heart because Eren & Mikasa are such true friends. They have no doubt, they trust Armin’s judgment more than their own. I could really feel the weight of their childhood pressing on my chest through the page.

Oh, it’s also nice to see Levi again.
