REVIEW
I used to dislike Mikasa out of spite, because she was too popular a character. Rereading the story is helping me understand WHY she was so popular: she’s a badass. Her reactions to tragedy are so ridiculously admirable they become hard to expect.
Not sure what to think about the fact she’s the last Asian person within the walls. It just makes me feel sad for her. She needs a lot of hugs.
This series is less confusing to read the second time around. I remember being completely lost when I read the ending to this volume as a teenager. This time, I had no nagging questions. Only giggles of excitement.
