60th read: The 7 ½ Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle

This book reminds me of Clue (that old murder mystery board game). I like that.

REVIEW

I admit I was somewhat confused the entire novel, but that confusion never prevented my enjoyment. I wasn’t trying too hard to piece together what was happening, I relaxed and allow the plot to reveal itself.

Audiobook was the correct format for this one: it was easy to listen to the story move along while doing chores.

Wish we saw a bit more Evelyn, since she’s in the title. It misled me a little at first. Aidan Bishop & Anna were much more active/present in the plot, much more intriguing. I really liked how different hosts influenced Aidan’s personality.

Lots of questions about the plague doctors and this time loop system, but they’re good ones to wonder & daydream about. The story would have been too long, if we got into those details. It already concludes a great mystery in a satisfying way.
