REVIEW
Memory is funny.
I could barely remember this one, even began wondering if I skipped it when I read the series as a child. Then the cow race began, unearthing the most vivid memory of a single, specific panel that made me burst out laughing in the early 2000s and again in 2023.
My crush on Rose Harvestar intensifies with every detail we discover about her. It frustrates me how little attention my child self paid to her. Every other important character feels like a long forgotten friend, but she’s someone I’m discovering for the first time. Maybe I wasn’t paying enough attention to older characters, back then.
The rat people make me laugh everytime they appear. I absolutely adore them & I’ve been doodling them everywhere in my notebooks.
