5th read: Connection Lost and Other Dark Tales

Working full-time is exhausting.

Books I can read in one sitting on my days off are much appreciated.

I’m a little sad this one was only available on kindle, because it exceeded my expectations. I would have loved to annotate on paper… but a little bird told me Gillian is working on a print collection that includes these 3 stories and more!

Rating: 5 out of 5.

REVIEW

I loved all 3 stories in this collection. I like how the monster isn’t who/what it first seems in each of these stories.

“Connection Lost” made me feel all sorts of things. I loved the haunted baby monitor & what it communicates. I liked “I’ll Poison Your Dreams” because it involves sisters with a lot of resentment. At first it made me want green sheets at first, but now I fear it might be unlucky!

I wish “Bergamot and Blood” was a teeny bit longer so all my questions about the characters were answered, but I enjoyed the mystery.
